Crafco Superflex HT

This crackfiller is a hot applied asphalt based product is used to fill cracks in asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete pavements in moderate to hot climates. Superflex HT is supplied in sold form which when melted and properly applied forms an adhesive and flexible compound that resists cracking in the winter and is highly resistant to tracking or pick-up by vehicle tires in hot climates. This product is used in highway, street, airfield and parking lot pavements and is applied to pavement cracks using either pressure feed melter applicators or pour pots. At application temperature, Superflex HT is a low viscosity, self-leveling product which easily penetrates narrow cracks. This crackfiller can be melted in jacketed double boiler type melting units, or in small direct bottom fired types of melters. Both melter types must have sufficient agitation and temperature indicating devices to assure that the material is heated to and maintained within the specified application temperature range of 325° to 400°F (163° to 204° C).

Crafco Polyflex Type 3

Crafco Polyflex Type 3 is a hot applied asphalt based product used to fill cracks and joints in asphalt and Portland cement concrete pavements in warm to hot climates. This crackfiller is supplied in solid form which when melted and properly applied forms a highly adhesive and flexible compound that resists cracking in the winter and resists flow and pick-up at summer temperatures. Polyflex Type 3 is used in highway, street, airfield and parking lot pavements and is applied to pavement cracks using either pressure feed melter applicators or pour pots. At application temperature, this crackfiller is a medium viscosity product which flows and penetrates cracks. Polyflex Type 3 is formulated as an economical yet effective pavement maintenance crack filler product. Compared to products based on reclaimed rubber, Polyflex Type 3 offers lower viscosity for easier application, improved summer temperature pick-up resistance, quicker set-up times and improved low temperature flexibility.

Maxwell Nuvo Elite D

Nuvo Elite D is a hot pour polymer modified asphalt crack and concrete joint sealant that is suitable in cold to hot climates. This sealant is supplied in a solid state and is self-leveling at application temperatures. When properly applied according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, the in-place sealant forms a resilient and adhesive bond that seal joints and cracks against the intrusion of water and foreign materials reducing pavement and sub-based deterioration. Nuvo Elite D may be melted using a direct fired melting unit or a melter with an indirect heating system. The melter should be equipped with an agitator and the sealant should be agitated regularly during both the melting process and the pouring process.

Henry’s Duroflex

This crackfiller is a blend of SBS polymer modified asphalt, fillers and additives designed as a hot applied, premium pavement joint and crack sealant. Application to prepared joints or cracks is by hot application from a heated melter then squeegeed into place. Only 100% new polymer is used, with no recycled polymer, rubber or reclaimed rubber, giving superior performance over a variety of temperatures and climates. It is packaged in easy-to-use 35lb (16kg) “bricks” that are wrapped with meltable poly in an individual cardboard carton and palletized.

DEERY STRETCH PRO-PL

Deery Stretch Pro-Pl is a very fast curing premium quality, hot applied single component parking lot grade sealant. Only the most appropriate high quality synthetic elastomers, polymers, and anti-oxidants meeting exacting standards are used in combination with select asphalt plasticizers and naturally occurring reinforcing organic materials. Stretch Pro-PL is tested for low temperature flexibility at -10⁰F (-23⁰C).

DEERY 200

This is a hot applied, single component, elastically modified composition of asphalt cement, virgin synthetic polymer, recycled rubber, and other modifiers. The sealant contains no solvent, is pre-reacted and conforms to the requirements of the specification designated herein and conforms to the requirements of many state DOT specifications.
